#MyMushroomToast – Consumer Competition

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Schedule:

Competition: Game of Skill – My Mushroom Toast competition | Win a year of cafe meals at your local café.

Promoter: Australian Mushrooms Growers Association (ABN 30 001 491 461) (AMGA) of Level 3, 33-35 Atchison St, St Leonards, NSW 2065. Phone: (02) 9421 8600.

Entry Restrictions: The competition is open to Australian residents only.

Entrants must be over aged 18 and over. Employees of the Promoter, the Prize Supplier(s) and associated companies and their immediate families are ineligible.

 

Competition Period:

Commences: 10:00am AEDT on Monday 1 August 2022.

Closes: 10:00pm AEDT on Wednesday 31st August 2022.
After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

 

How to enter:

How to enter are as follows:

  1. Entries must be a photo of a Mushroom Toast dish from a café of choice.
  2. Entries must be posted to Instagram grid (stories are not permitted)
  3. Entries must tag @AustralianMushrooms and the café + #MyMushroomToast
  4. Entrants must be following the Australian Mushrooms Instagram page throughout the duration of the competition, until all winners are announced.

 

Additional Guidelines:

  •  Entrants must have their Instagram profile set to public for entry to be valid.
  • The entry post must remain on the entrants feed until all winners are announced.
  •  Any entries not using both the relevant handle tags and hashtag will not be valid.
  • Any entries not following Australian Mushrooms Instagram page at the time of judging will not be valid.

 

Major Prize:

There will be 5 individual winners in total, each receiving 1x Visa gift card valued at $1,300. This is the equivalent of 1 x $25 cafe meal per week for one year (52 weeks).

 

Winner Selection:

A winner will be selected each Monday from the entries that week (Monday – Sunday) and will be announced weekly on the Australian Mushrooms Instagram page each Tuesday. First winner will be selected Monday 8th August 2022. Final winner will be announced 6th September 2022.

 

Judging Criteria:

Winners will be selected based on the following criteria:

  • How well the photo showcases mushrooms
  • Styling and quality of the photo
  • Originality of post caption

  • Support shown for their café of choice (through tag & mentions)

     

    Prize Winner Notification:

    Prize Winners will be notified by social media each Tuesday throughout August and early September. First winner will be selected Monday 8th August 2022. Final winner will be announced on 6th September 2022. The promoter will notify the winners via social media, request the best postage address and advise the winners when the prize will be delivered. Winners will also be published on the Australian Mushrooms website when chosen.

     

    How to redeem the Prize:

    The prize (Visa Gift Card) will be posted to the winners. The promoter will notify the winners of their win, update the winners regarding delivery timings, share details and request the best delivery address via social media. Winners will have 4 weeks to claim their prize and advise best delivery address, after which a rejudge will occur.

    If a winner cannot be contacted after 4 weeks of each winner announcement, the Promoter or its nominated agent will then select another winner from all valid entries. Second chance winners will be notified by social media by 5 September 2022 and published on the Australian Mushrooms website when chosen.

     

    General Terms and Conditions

    1. By uploading publishing, transmitting or making available any data, user content or other material to the Australian Mushrooms, including but not limited to sharing social media posts using specific hashtags (#) in line with a campaign we might be running at the time, you grant the Australian Mushrooms and its affiliates, a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide and fully sub-licensable right to use, communicate, reproduce, modify adapt, publish any such content, including but not limited to text, images, videos, graphics, audio, and photographs without attribution.
    2. Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. Information relating to the Competition and the above Schedule form part of the terms and conditions for the Competition. The Promoter may vary these terms and conditions from time to time at its sole discretion, subject to the approval of the relevant state authorities.
    3. Eligibility to enter the Competition is subject to the Entry Restrictions above.
    4. To enter the Competition, entrants must complete the process outlined in the How to enter Entry Details during the Competition Period. Any entry received outside of the Competition Period will be deemed invalid.
    5. Multiple entries across multiple cafés from the same person will be accepted. However, only one entry per dish will be accepted per person. Multiple entries of the same dish from the same person will be disqualified.
    6. Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries.
    7. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of identity, proof of Australian residency status at the nominated Prize delivery address and proof of entry validity, in order to claim a Prize. Acceptance of proof of eligibility is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that an entrant cannot provide proof, their entry will be deemed invalid.
    8. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    9. Winners will be notified in accordance with the Winner Notification details in the Schedule.
    10. All Prizes are as depicted or described in the Schedule and, unless otherwise specified, are not transferable or exchangeable for other items. The Promoter is not responsible for any additional costs associated with use of the Prize.
    11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, damages, or injury incurred to enter the Competition or in connection with taking up the Prizes.
    12. Once Prizes have left the Prize Supplier’s premises, no responsibility is taken for Prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
    13. It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize and the Prize Supplier’s requirements.
    14. Winners are responsible for all costs not expressly listed as being included in the Prize.
    15. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the Promoter’s opinion, includes objectionable content.
    16. All entries must be the original independent creation of the entrant and free of any claims that they infringe any third party rights. Entries must not have been published previously and/or have been used to win prizes in any other competitions.
    17. The Promoter takes no liability for any tax issues which may arise from accepting a Prize in this Competition. Consult an independent tax adviser if this is a concern.
    18. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal or permanent injury or loss of life; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition.
    19. Neither the Promoter nor the Prize Supplier or their associated companies is responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for acts of god, acts of terrorism or war (declared or undeclared), state of emergency or disaster, or other events beyond the Promoter and the Prize Supplier’s control which prevent the Competition from running as planned or prevent awarding or acceptance of the Prize in accordance with the Prize description. If such acts or events occur, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition or suspend or modify a Prize, subject to state regulations.
    20. The Promoter and the Prize Supplier/s assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction or unauthorised access to, or alterations of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available. If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including, but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administrative security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, to take any action that may be available to the fullest extent permitted by law, including to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition. Subject to state regulations.
    21. All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter.
    22. Entrants consent to their full names and/or their entries being used in all media by the Promoter. Entrants acknowledge and agree they may be required to participate in promotional activities while taking up the Prize.
    23. The Promoter may use entrants’ names and details for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. The Promoter may also be required to disclose your personal information to its contractors, agents, co-promoter and to state and territory gaming departments to assist in conducting the Competition.
    24. All details of the entrants (including personal information) will be collected, used, preserved and disclosed in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles and the Australian Mushrooms Privacy Policy, as shown on the Australian Mushrooms website. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Australian Mushrooms Privacy Officer. Unless otherwise notified, the Promoter may use the entries and details of entrants for promotional and publicity purposes.
    25. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering, entrants confirm they are 18+ years of age, releasing Instagram of responsibility and agree to Instagram’s terms of use.
